With my 265/70R17 MTZs on Pintlers I can stuff each wheel individually with no rubbing, but if the suspension is compressed equally on each side (like hitting a dip at speed.), the outside lugs catch on the arch pinch-weld.

In my case I was lucky and linking the helper air-bags (so both bags are filled from a single valve; edit, and running slightly more pressure in the bags.) seems to have reduced the chance of it happening again.
Still planning to flatten the pinchweld when I can be bothered.

Default First Test of New Suspension

I can't express how impressed I'm with the lift, the 33s, the overall performance. Ate all obstacles at crawl speed. It's been a long time since I began the tinkering with the suspension, and it's finally paid off!! It's been a long time. Also, the fuel economy isn't bad either with this setup, I left home at 24L/100km average, reached Zig Zag at 18.9L, got back out at 27.6L and arrived back home to Blacktown at 15.2L. Although the front and rear HD springs don't give me much flex, nothing in comparison to what the stock springs did before with a 2" lift, but it's actually what I was hoping for from this test, and that's with both swaybars disconnected. Couldn't be stuffed extending the bump stops (for now). The Quadradrive 2 system, as you guys already know, makes up for the lack of articulation. Eaton did a really good job in electronically locking the front, center and rear diffs. Just amazing.

The guys driving other 4WD's that were also there in our group were dumbfounded. I showed up some of those Patrols with 4.2 TD's and 6 inches of lift. Some other passers-by were (I'd say jealous) making silly sounds and telling my group sh!t like "it's easy going downhill (at the powerlines), but what about uphill?" I wish they stayed to watch. Basically did all the tracks yesterday at crawl speed, where many were getting stuck, especially on the wet powerlines track (a Triton blew a front diff). Best of all, the videos, once done, will really show the difference.

I'm so happy you guys wouldn't believe how much. I'm stoked!!

And yes, forgot to mention, I did calibrate the speedo to the new tyres and ran 25psi pressure all day.

Awesome!! Hard work pays off! ... now you've gotta get that front bar fitted
Is Clarky in the videos doing the same sections? Will be good to see the comparison.

Thanks to Valpacer. Helped me out heaps.

The front bar... yeah, I almost forgot I had it [emoji38]

Clarky did the sections in the pics plus the first part of the Wombat Holes, after which he bailed out. Unfortunately his brand new tyres were getting cut on the rear guards without the bump stops. I'll do a video of this short track. The Wombat Holes video will depend on the "4WD show" as I was recording a segment for the show. We'll see what they use and what they don't use.

Great pic's, sorry I had to bail It was great to see your Grand back in action.

I need to do the guards, make or buy an adjustable track bar & reclaim my lost front end height & then I will be happy...... for a little while
