You might want to put that comment as a quote to the post you're referring to or at least mention the author of the post, otherwise no one knows what/who you're on about!

O.k. well the tires are yet to be ordered but the day is fast approaching. That said, I put the 'deceptacon' into the garage and measured from the pinch weld seam ( I think I got that right ?) just behind the front wheel arch to the level ground and again from the same point just in front of the rear wheel arch. Distance to the ground ( it's on 265/70R17s at present ) at the front was 415mm and 447mm at the rear. As its just had its 160k service I took the opportunity to have installed the Teraflex puck/ levelling kit at the same time. By the time I bought decent height jack stands and a torque wrench it just wasn't worth doing it myself. Much easier on the hoist. I haven't got it back into the garage yet but rough measurements are corresponding with 460+ in the front and 470+ in the rear. The rake is still there but barely discernible. With 32's it would look ok but 33's will suit it really well and translate well for road work and mild off road. I did have the chance to check the spring tags on my OEM springs and the front has blue tags # 52126513AB and the rear have gold tags # 68004458AA. After 160,000 I don't imagine the springs will settle much more but curious if this was a relatively standard set up for the CRD ? Still to decide on tires but with the absence of the Cooper ST Maxx 255/80R17's.. its likely to be either the Hankook or Toyo on the standard rims. At least for the short term.

Anyone have any experience with kanati trail hogs?
They look the same as Goodyear duratracs only 160 odd bucks cheaper.

Can't say that I do, but if it's cheaper Duratracs you're after I'd suggest looking into a set of Kelly Safari TSRs
