I recently flushed my 96 xj with liquid intelligence on the final drain I used a small leaf blower with some rag to fit the top hose thermostat out and bottom hose off the low pressure air got every drop out used my mouth to blow the heater core out fully empty ready for new coolant I did this to both my xj's

Sadly the ports are rather small on the head, and it dosent take much build up to restrict flow. Getting the crumbs out is probably more important than getting some distilled water out.
Last flush I did, I refilled it with distilled water, and left the lower radiator hose off , ran it till hot, then gave it 3500rpm till it blew off under pressure.
The blast spat crumbs out everywhere.
