i highly recommend u going to goughs twl and part 630 bucks for a pair of l.e.d trucklite headlamps to replace the garbage hellas. i wanted these for ages and decided to hit the road for timaru with just enough dough for gough twl (the caterpillar peoples transport wholesale division) for the lites and a cheep feed which this was my whole months pocket money gone.

i parked outside the front door on a friday 4.30 rush hour, went in grovelled for a 30 buck discount and borrowed the toolkit from shop stock and fitted lites outside, i needed crimpers and terminals so i was lucky next door was a auto sparky i borrowed tool off swapping him veges.

the biggest advantage is these lighten the workload of the autenator and battery using only less than 1.8 amps each giving white lite.
www.trucklite.com now also the new owners of rigid industrys l.e.d liting.

I had installed JW Speaker Jeep front and back LED lights a few months ago. Great improvement on factory, but I wouldn't call factory Hellas garbage. They were ok.

I now have done 2.5" AEV lift as well.
