Default Rising temps when towing?

Still being in the learning phase of Jeep ownership, I'm interested to know if anyone's experienced especially high coolant and/or trans oil temps when towing (with a CRD)? I'm about to do a fair bit of towing with the caravan and don't really know what to expect from the GC with temps. With previous tow cars I've been used to having an aux trans cooler, and I know coolant temps normally rise quite a bit under some conditions, but can't find any commentary on these concerning the GC. TIA.

Rising oil temp is a common observation, but it doesn't seem to ever get into the red, people seem to freak out a bit when they see it heading up.

I tow a 3.2T van. Have taken it to the tip of Cape York, Birdsville track, western Queensland and the Northern Territory. The transmission oil temperature seems to top out at 94 degrees. The engine coolant temperature goes up and down a lot ( it seems to vary more than any other vehicle I have ever owned) but never in the red. The engine oil temp seems to hover around 100-110 . I make sure the gear selector is always on S (sport) that seems to lock out 8th.

I asked this question at the dealership as we also tow a 3t van. Water temp can climb up to the orange when climbing a long hill (40C and a 5 km climb) but cooled down again on the other side. This is considered normal - there is a PDF on this available from dealers on this. Oil and trans temps will also rise a bit but also return to normal fairly quickly. Normal towing is as previous comments.
