Hi Ned,

I have Superchip Flashpaq available for my WJ. Have not yet played around with it since I am still struggling to get my ride actually to run properly.

But don't you need to have the chipset installed as well to be able to use it?

As far as I know you have to replace the computer as well. If not happy to help.

Thanks
Joerg

Looks like you don't. I am not sure which model I have but it works on my WJ 2002.

It does not have the fancy touch screen but a bit older where you still need to navigate with keys.

Anyway, I am living in Ivanhoe so you can pop by anytime to get this done.

Thanks
Joerg

JoergM, I think you might find that your Flashpaq is locked to your VIN if you have made any changes to your Jeep.

If you haven't and use it on Ned's, it will lock to his VIN which means you can't use it until you put Ned's back to standard.

I could be wrong here, but it might be best if you read up beforehand.

Oops, thanks Jamie. Will certainly have a look at the instructions. Happy to help but if it is getting useless to me there is no point.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Yepp, you are right. It seems to be locked once you change and I would need to put it back to its original state before using on a different car.
Read some comments and one of the user just complained exactly what you have just mentioned.

So Ned, I am afraid this won't work. Luckily Jamie pointed this out before I will face this issue once I want to use it on my car.

Thanks
Joerg
