Default New to jeep and new to 4wd. Hello

Thought I'd start by saying hello.
I just bought a 2008 my2007 jeep grand Cherokee.
Well I swapped my ss for it.
This is my first 4wd. Before that its been all v8 performance cars.
Fg GT boss 335, VE SSV, VZ maloo R8 and a V8 commodore.

I pick the jeep up next week sometime.
It's black, 55000kms, arb bull bar, tow kit roof racks, spotties, all in all it is in very good condition. One owner before me with full service history.

I've looked around this forum a bit over the last couple of weeks and seems like a good resourceful place for info and chat.

Future mods for me will include a small lift kit. New rims withe some big AT tyres and most importantly a double din screen with a reverse camera.

Regards

Shaun

Nice one Shaun - welcome to the forum!!

I'm sure you'll love the WH, they have a pretty good reputation around here.

Tell us more. Is it a Laredo, Limited etc? Is it a 4.7 V8, CRD or the mighty HEMI?

Cheers,
Hanna

Welcome Shaun, you'll love your WH!

Sounds like you wanna settle down a bit. I lot of my mates and myself (and me brothers) got into 4WD-ing after being into performance cars. Just too much money.

Its a Laredo with the 3.0 diesel. I don't know a lot about fourbys but diesel is the way to go in my opinion anyway

Main reason for changing is I've starting to get into downhill and mtb riding and the 4x4 just makes life so much easier.

Welcome - and get the GDE hot tune and you will be very surprised by how quick the CRD will go. You may even have fun dragging off your mates who have stayed with the V8's.
