Default 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Barwork

Hi Everyone

New to this forum with my first Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. So far impressed with the power and handling and will be taking it for its first off-road trip in September to Tasmania. So far I have had the side steps and roof rack fitted by Uneek, along with the snorkel however IO still have the front bar to compete with winch and spotlights before I am finished.

Uneek have told me a bar is about Sept to Oct off at this stage as there are differences between the 2016 GC and 2017 GC, I also have the radar cruise fitted.

Are there any options out there for a proper front bar which is winch capable for the 2017 GC?

Photos of my ride below.

HI,

Are you wanting a steel or alloy bar?

We went with the alloy (to save weight with the GVM), bar from ECB.

It has a Mean Mother 9500lb low mount winch with rope in it and has built in recovery points. They do it for the Overland with the ACC, but as we have a Limited, w don't have that. We do have the parking sensors and it works fine in the bar.

Sure the 2017 would be similar?

Cheers,
Sally

There are some differences around the front suspension, but wouldn't have thought that would affect the bar. You could ask ARB and ECB....

Slightly off topic, I note you fitted Uneek rails but I wondered if the Trailhawk came with OEM Rails like they used to?

Thanks for the replies everyone. I prefer the steel bar to the alloy in a three hoop design. Unfortunately the front mounts are different, confirmed by uneek and Arb, so seeing if anything else is out there. Nothing from Mopar either. Haven't called TJM yet which I might do tomorrow.

The side rails were needed as the sills were plastic, I prefer this uneek bar setup as I needed the steps.

Yeah, early pics of the new trailhawk showed the TH rockrails (no tube) fitted, but it seems they don't fit them standard this time.
