I was going to put the Davies Craig Cooler 678 in but I am unsure whether to put it on the Viscous fan side, the E Fan Side or in the middle of both in front of the radiator. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
After fitment I will do some more temp checks.

erring on the side of caution ....

I stuck the cooler in the middle as it gets the benefit of both the clutchfan and the thermo fan.

Its probably a heads or tails situation tho

I put mine on the clutch fan side for 2 reasons:
1. it always gets cooling from fan
2. if the car does get hot and needs to aux fan, the cooler does not hinder airflow.
Mounted like this:

There are advantages to mounting the other side as well... as carves said, heads or tails.

Hey Ceven Thaks for the info and pics, Have you noticed any temp changes in the engine and do you still run the Trans Oil through the Main Radiator still.

I changed the radiator at the same time, so its not really a true comparison, however if anything it now runs a touch hotter... I have a theory that its because there is too much coolant in the mix (no evidence though).
I don't run the trans fluid through the radiator but straight form the auto to the cooler. I'm yet to see a good reason to use the radiator to heat the auto fluid . What I need to do is install a gauge to see what the temps are actually doing... just haven't got around to finding one yet.
