#11 head boot and Loctite 592
The FSM says to use Loctite 592 on #11 headbolt. I believe this was the weak spot that caused the green stuff to go into the #1 cylinder. I have had several "hot" incidents.
But I was wondering, if the Loctite 592 is rated to 200°C, will this be good enough for our hot Jeeps?
What alternatives are there for the 592?
Is there a better product to use?
