In QLD for a vehicle to be roadworthy the speedo has to be with in 10 percent, wonder how long before that will change now NSW have aligned themselves with Vic

a truly ridiculous situation where some people, ( because they have heard the it so often), now believe that speed is the cause of road accidents and not inattentiveness. Education not regulation is the answer to road sfatey.
Oh silly me that was what I thought the subject was......................
It is another indirect tax

this is just another reason why govt and its bureaucrats have turned modern society to s hit

Cars and minor speeding don't kill people.

IT'S PEOPLE AND THEIR ATTITUDES THAT KILL.

FATIGUE is a bigger killer as it causes accidents and if excess speed is involved then it can become fatal.

With the cars and technology of today FATIGUE becomes a far bigger issue.

Thought for the day ;- They took our guns off us - Guns Don't Kill People - People Kill People.

Are cars next on their list to go

Not likely ....

If we all car-pooled and drove at 40kph for a few weeks ... our state govts would probably collapse due to lost revenue from fines and fuel taxes.

Another point,

If the beuracrats argue they are not revenue raising!

Why is it when the Police Unions have a Despute, they vow to hit the government where it hurts (in the hip pocket), by failing to issue Traffic Infringements for a set period and go on strike from traffic duties.
