Just finished oil and filter change on our 2009 WH CRD Grand Cherokee and all went well using vacuum pump to empty sump (although I didn't let the oil warm enough so emptying sump was pretty slow).
Anyway, went to get rid of "perform service" warning using the suggested method (turn ignition to "on", pump accelerator slowly three times and then turn off ignition).
Tried this twice but "perform service" stays lit!
What am I doing wrong?????
I think there is a setting for this if you click the menu button on the dash. I think it's called "service intervals" if you service your car regularly than just turn it off, dont need a reminder to look after my baby and gets rid of the annoying message!
