OK thanks; now is there an easy solution? I really do not want to pull the centre and the axles on a brand new 8.25. Plus it would mean paying for someone to do it.

that was the easy solution!!!

A bigger diameter breather hose may overcome the problem,

had the whole steering replaced today,
steering box, tie rod ends, drag link and steering dampnier.

its like driving a new car, its increadable.
appart from it needs a wheel alignmnet now.

Have you changed to steel brakelines? If so i think the distribution block on them is not as tall and as a result the breather sits lower in the axle tube... can space it up with a couple washers if memory serves correctly
