Default Billstein 5100 vs TeraFlex 9550 shocks

Hey guys, my fox 2.0 remote res shocks are leaking, wanted to fix them but got quoted about $250 for each shock to rebuild, bit too much IMO considering spend the extra $50 and i'd get new ones.

Considered trying to rebuild them myself?
and also considering buying new shocks either the Bilsteins or TF ones as I dont currently have the extra for the fox's.

any recommendations or reviews on them would be very helpful choosing what to do

Leaning towards the Bilsteins, cheaper than a rebuild on the fox, and pretty much same measurements.

The Bilsteins generally give a softer, more comfortable ride and generally extend a bit longer than other shocks for similar lift heights.

I can't give you an objective opinion on the Teraflex shocks because I had some of the early variants that was affected by seious quality control issues.

Have just listed some 9550 in the marketplace.

They seemed fine to me but trying something else now as it’s not a daily driver now.
