Anzac parade

A mate and I volunteered our Jeeps to transport weary diggers in the local parade. Most were capable enough to make it on their own, a few Korea vets opted to ride the final hill to the post parade service.

Tops off and doorless. One of the vets said to me from the passenger seat "this is much nicer than the last one of these I was in" Attachment 71125

Thanks guys. It was a good morning in the end. I learnt some valuable car detailing tools. 1. if you are going to use tyre shine (super cheap) to make your flares look awesome (it works too) don't forget to wash them thoroughly before going on dusty roads, as there get filthy!
2. duct tape is awesome at removing pet hair ingrained into your carpet - wind it backwards around your hand and be prepared to use half a roll
3. tyre paint makes those chipped sidewalls look brand new, unless you drive through a puddle, then they right back to where they were.
