Hey guys, my cat has blown out the internals and time for a new one. Can anyone recommend one brand over the other? what are you guys using?

Thanks.

I've used a hi-flow cat before. The old one collapsed, so I got some pipe and punched it through.

I used a hi- flow metal type-can not remember the brand.
The catilist is fixed to thin sheat metal that is stacked in the there, rather that the usual honeycomb ceramic material.

Good luck with it.

So any of the metal ones on eBay will be fine? I can't find a mangnaflow one with the 02 sensor which is what I wanted, so might have to go the no name ones. Do you think they will be just as good.

The oxy sensor is neither here nore their. You can buy a bung and weld it in your self.
I can not comment on brand or quality, my local exhaust bloke recommended it, I said yes, happy with it so far 3-4 years now. can not remember the brand exactly, but do remember recognising it as an established brand just befor saying ok.
Worth noting that it is physically much smaller than the stock unit.
Mine is a 2.5" unit in auliminised steel looks similar to the one in the pic in your link.
Could not tell you how cells in mine.

Just replaced my Cat & Muffler. Done by Budget Exhaust at Bankstown here in Sydney. No affiliation but recommended. Cat is S/Steel high flow rather than ceramic & muffler is straight through. Supplied & fitted $550. Cat was $300 from memory & is smaller than stock. They welded in the bung as well.
