Default 2.5" lift - stock tyres

Finally got some new rims to accomodate the PP Tie Rod and also the rear links, and one day the 33". Just used the stock 245 tyres for now until I get some more coin. The Alloys are KMC Venon in 17 x 8 with 12mm offset or 5" back space. I have 2" PP coils all round, with 10mm spacers in the front, I have approx 60mm lift in front and 85mm in the rear. The car has 90kg of weight in it in the photo to keep the back down. So the Photo represents about a 60-70mm lift with 245 tyres.

Nice JKtom...vrty different look with those rims....but definately need the 33/35s in the future. How does the offset look from the front...in the guards? Got a front pic?

Matt.

Default Pics

Hi macca
I will take some front and rear shots 2morrow. The tire wall is exactly in line with the top of the flare. I can run a piece of timber from tire to flare and it touches top and bottom of tire, and also the flare? Go figure.
The rims were not my first choice, but one of the only ones that offered a 5" b/s in a 17" so had to do. The more I look at them, the more I like them?

You have got to love yella jeeps!

I started playing around with mine on the weekend. I got a 35x12.5xR16 Maxxis Trep on a sunraysia rim with about 3 1/4" BS. Here is the result on my stocker. I'm going to get different rims. I think you could go with a 5" BS and 35s.
