Just a thought aza ....

Are mudflaps fitted by the carmakers to keep your vehicle clean ... ???

Or are they fitted to help stop crap being flicked up and smashing other peoples windscreens ... and therefore a safety item ... ???

The answer to those questions might explain why mudflaps can be a defect item ....

They are fitted by manufacturers to make your car look ghey (thats why i ripped em off my falcon) I understand there purpose but seriously when you are running 35s a big lift etc etc surely mudflaps are the least of your concerns. If the cops want to do you a mudflap wont be the deal breaker.
