Default MOPAR® Performance 4.5" Long Arm Lift Kit with Bilstein Shocks

Hi all new to the forum. I have had a few modified 4wd over the years including a locked Sierra on hilux diffs and a wild 75 Series Toyota on 36 Extreme Treckers. This is my first Jeep a 2008 4-door JK Unlimited Rubicon.

I am looking at a 4" lift as I want to run 36" Tyres I have seen that Mopar offer a 4.4" Long arm Kit that includes everything including new front and rear dual carden drive shafts. As the Kit is offered by Mopar as a geniune Jeep accessory for the 4 door JK Wrangler I am hoping I will not have engineering issues, the kit is expensive at 5k US and I am aware that it is built by Rubicon Express for Mopar. Anybody got any thoughts on how the engineers in QLD will look at this?

Thanks

Just off phone with QLD Transport if I can get documentation from the US that US dealers offer the Mopar Kit as a factory option there is no problems. Will email a mate in Boston tonight and see if he can visit his local Jeep dealer, have also sent an email to Mopar.

The kit is for LHD though isn't it? won't fit a RHD car here.

I was told that the 2" kit doesn't fit RHD's by Morris 4x4 who had checked with Mopar, hopefully you have better luck with the 4.5" kit

You'll probably have issues with the steering components and panhard rods rather than the coils/control arms/mounting for control arms.

Also I have been told that QLD Police and DoT will still write you a canary regardless of the amount of paperwork you have to prove legality. Its up to the owner to get the vehicle inspected to confirm that it is legal to clear the canary
