Default G'dday!

I tagged along with some Ausies that went to pick up crappy wheels from the fuckin' black pufter you know as JimmyB. I reckon he has some kind of god status on this forum.

Let me see. I've got a TJ. Here is a pic back from 2001:

We go wheeling in Johnson Valley – it's a good place for rockcrawling.

Anyways, thanks to Jimmy. I enjoyed watching the video slide show he showed us. Wish we could stay longer and chat some more.

There was just one of me, and like five or so of you crazy Aussie people. I had to be very quiet for my own good. Now, that I am hiding behind the Internet screen, I can be very loud and obnoxious.

Yep, those flares were replaced by Bushwhacker ones with slots for mounting bolts. We installed nutserts in the stock locations. I was using button head bolts and an electric drill with a hex attachment to take the flares off before running trails, and then reattaching them for highway. That worked reasonably well for some time.

After that I retired my jeep to trail only duty, and the fender flares were tossed. Then at one point in time Poison Spider tube fenders were installed in the front (which us a very crappy product in my opinion, doesn't fit well).

Now it looks like this:
