The place I who had my tj for 5 days last week, think because I'm a girl that I'm a friggin idiot. I know my way around cars, I know what needed doing and it wasn't done.
In saying I know what needed to be done, I don't have the tools or access to the parts, nor have the time to do myself. Not happy that I wasted a week with no results.

Somebody has told me I.G auto repairs at Blaxland is good,

And yep the car dropping and getting lifts to work and back home to the second car is all stuffing around !

I'm happy to pay top dollar for quality work, that's not an issue. But it's the lack of quality that's the problem ...

Default need GOOD jeep mechanic syd west..

Speaking for myself, I just want someone that knows Jeeps and can actually diagnose faults as the dealer certainly can't. Prefer to avoid travelling to the big smoke.

Hey wooders, it's an 02 tj with a leaking rear main that has been "fixed" about 2 years ago and is still leaking.
Also the steering box is leaking really badly & I'm not sure where from.
Have a funny/odd not always there whinning rubbing almost squeaking noise coming from the drive shaft I think? The place who had it last week say it just needed a grease up, if they did it not not I don't know but it's still making the noise. Only on take off or second gear low rpm, much louder after I'd been 4wding for a weekend

Thumbs down

and will add i was charged for work that wasnt done & just got a $150 refund after asking WTF ?? and the second time i have picked my jeep up after having it at "said workshop" and my break caliper locks on, i cant steer in a straight line and they put it down to grease in the slider.. not a fun experience on a motor way and this is the second time this has happened after picking it up.

certainly time to find a new mechanic... i have been told that "emu car care" does a very good job, at emu plains..

Is that the one behind Repco, (ex Scots)? I've usually used Springwood Car Car since that is a bit closer, but if Apex are good with Jeeps then I'll give them a try next time.
