Check out this beast




Live axle front and rear
Shaft driven, full-time 4WD and inline twin motors.
Front and rear sealed gearbox with die cast diff. gears.
Sturdy suspension consists of coil springs and leaf springs.
Four wheel steering system for tight cornering.

Hmmm, time to go and fix the slipper clutch on the Terra Crusher - won't win rack crawling but should be ok on everything else...

Fud,
I think the Jug is probably the second best platorm to build a rock crawler...Best Well lucky for me seems to be the clud....But the clod and the Jug are VERY similar in stock config....
Although I didn't realise that had coils & Leafs.... Wonder how stiff that would be....

Pizzaz,
You definately should - the rockclawling comp will be a heap of fun....I know gas kicks arse for speed - now lets get it awn on the rocks :D :D
Anyways there are a few "tracks currently being build so we can have some comps - should be fun....

By the looks of it. There would be nothing stopping you from removing them for some crazy flex. You would probably have to increase the spring strength to take the weight tho.

It would be fun to play around with. Can't beat that approach and departure angle but.
