So the yellow bushes that came on my solid front panhard have heaps of slop now causing death wobbles. What bushes can I replace them with and were do I get them???

JKS sell these bushes as do teraflex. JKS told me theirs are 20% higher in durometer (or something) that OE, but then in subsequent emails, said they get them from Jeep - go figure. They are $25 each and $30 to ship by US Post. Jeep Aust will only sell the entire trackbar for around $400. i find it odd that you cannot buy wearable items such as bushes from Jeep. Quadratec could not confirm whether they could get them or not, so I just bought a PP Trackbar.

Default Panhard bushes

Hi Chris

U can either buy a PP or RE Panhard, or get some new rings welded on the end of the SOLID trackbar, and then use the OE bushes. Any reputable 4wd place can do this, but Brent from WIZARD on the Gold Coast makes the Panahrds like this so is probably the best place to take it.

Check your holes while it is off. Mine were a little elongated so i also got some washes welded in.

Why buy another set of bars??
Take your bar and a factory bush into a good suspension place like Fulcrum etc and they will be able to measure it up and get good quality replacement rubber bushes that fit the solid bar. There should be no need to spend huge amounts of money on new bars!! Just get good bushes fitted!!

BBushes are consumables...they are meant to wear out and you throw a new set in and nothing else wears. If you get that sorted then you will never have problems.

We used to replace landrover 110 panhard bushes about once a year, nearly every service!!!

Default Panhard bushes

Don't try another set of bushes from Fulcrum etc, Use only OE. All bushes are slightly different, and generally the OE's are the best. That is why teraflex and JKS have both gone to them. I have tried Nissan bushes - thought hey they work for the Nissan which is bigger and heavier than the JK, so they should work for the JK - they did not, a little to much rubber and a little to soft. U will need to get new rings welded on to get the OE buches.
I think the Panhard in the Jeep is a to important part to experiment.
