Thanks for the info, good set up. I look at the aftermarket stuff but have trouble committing! Was keen to get one of those push bike carriers that hang off the spare but concerned about extra weight since already have the 33 hanging back there...

Maybe you are better off with a Terraflex or Rugged Ridge HD hinge instead. Half the price of an aftermarket bar and carrier and it takes the weight off the tailgate. This will probably be the way I will go in the future if I need to. Though I do like the Uneek tyre carrier

Pretty sure AEV tyre carrier can be bought separate to the rear bar as it bolts directly to the chassis and only needs a hole cut through the stock rear bumper. That might solve your issue.

I've also looked into these. Jeep Konnection have them. They are a really good piece of kit.

I finally got around to installing my Fox steering stabiliser. I've had this for a few weeks now but just found the time today to put it on. I also fitted some LED fog lights in the bumper. These took ages to fit due to the original mounting bolts being rusted. I ended up having to break the old lights and chisel the bolts off.

Looks good, though I would strongly suggest a damper flip kit to remove it from being the first thing a large rock or tree stump hits..

I've been looking for a kit to do that, any particular one you recommend?
