Default She left me today, for good...

Left with an empty feeling tiday, watching her drive off with another bloke behind the wheel. Yeah, I'll get over her eventually of course, but today was a bit hard, silly bugger that I am. Must focus on that beautiful new model moving in with me end of the week...,

It is always a sad day to see some one else behind the wheel of the pride & joy. I have watched a number of my Jeeps be driven away...sort of mixed feelings really.

Hope the new car fills the void mate...maybe the new owner of your Jeep will turn up on here one day...

You two are both big Soppy Buggas, its just a car....... its the memories they bring to the fore ..................... Nah your right each of our vehicles carried us to many adventures and are remembered fondly, even when leaving us stranded at times...

Mind you there were tears in the brides eyes when we sold the old FJ55 Cruiser, many adventures with kids growing up in it, then we got a Jeep airconditioning we have moved into the 20 century at last, woohoo ................... yep sad to say goodbye to faithfull steeds, at least I never threw heaps of dollars on bling just to dump it a few years later our wheels always hung around for a good few years but the next one would always be a new adventure.
The scary thing is, as we are getting creakier we go to a car, 50 odd years of FWDs coming to an end, that will be a sad day and I will hang on, mate has down sized from a FWD to a Vitara its still FWD he declares, I humour him ............

Oh, the psychology is pretty simple really:

You feed and nurture them, they serve you faithfully, they go where you tell 'em to, they'll drag your arse to the ends of the earth in comfort on demand, they'll warm you up or cool you down, they're quiet, they never answer you back, they're happy to sleep in the garage.

Little wonder we form we form an attachment!!
