Default unfinished problem solving posts

Hey there admin doods!,
I was wondering if I could pass an offer to you all, first i will outline the problem.

Problem -
Unresolved Problems, as with almost all forums on the net, you get a forum member who has a problem with his rig.....he/she asks the forum for a possible solution.......he/she fixes or does not fix the problem with one of those suggestions or from advice from a mechanic, but NEVER posts what exactly was wrong and how he/she fixed the problem, no one knows for future reference if they (which they prolly will) ever experience the same problems. You perform a search, find what you think is the perfect post to solve all your nightmares.....and its unfinished!, unresolved.

Possible solution -
I am more than willing to chase these people up as a post finalizing Admin through email, PM's, messenger etc, not aggressively, just a reminder that the post is still unresolved, and in the interest of other forum users.......blar blar blar, to get the post finalized, a sort of quality control if you will.

I think this will greatly appreciate the worth of some of these topics.

I understand there are a large number of people who join the forum, get their problem solved and move on, never to be seen again, it happens...a lot.

I am very appreciative of this forums existence and would love to offer a hand at running it if at all possible; I know there is a lot of work involved in forum admin as i have done it in the past.

Just an offer, let me know

Thanks guys

Warren

I think this is a great idea!! As you find really usefull threads let me know and I'll add them to the stickys in the XJ section, or alternatively if there's anyway the admins can give you write access to them aswell, I'm more than happy for this to happen.

Exclamation Response

Warren - If your prepared to email thread originators in a non-aggressive, diplomatic / politically correct manner to obtain closure/resolution then you have AJOR Admin's blessing.

It would be appreciated if you could first PM me a draft copy of the 'reminder template' you plan on using.

Cheers

FC.
