I quite like the look of the black rims. What did you use for them?
I've been considering blacking all the chrome on mine, there's just too much, looks good on a car from the 60's, not something modern.

Yeah, maybe, maybe not...it does suit the black paintwork.
I'm a bit old school though, I kinda' like the bling on my 2013 particularly the chromed/stainless side flashes, the full-on grille and the tailgate treatment. From 2014 the GC became a bit bland with much of the dressing deleted. Hey, just my opinion, we're all different!!

I know after some muck got on my Bullbar I wish the previous owner had gone for a painted bar not a polished job, I've got to try and polish the crap stains off....but the rims can stay the same black shows the dirt more surprisingly.

I do kind of agree, I look at my rig and like it and have considered painting the grill etc, but can't bring myself to do it. The Mrs reckons I've wrecked the look of it by putting the roof rack on, haha.

I’m with you there. Not a fan of all black, especially rims. It makes it so it doesn’t matter what rims you have, it’s hard to tell what they look like. A little chrome breaks it up nicely. But each to their own. That’s what makes us different, and that’s a good thing. The world would be boring if we all liked the same thing. Not my look, but Batman and Darth Vader love it, and who would want to mess with them?

My vinyl painted rims show all the dirt. But I do like them on my white Jeep.
