Your right about attached to the rear upper control arm, but the eBay one looks like my front one installed which is the headlight level sensor.

Needs a sensor at the rear as-well, to determine the level the car is sitting at.

I did some measuring of where my new rims and tyres are going to end up. They will be out past the guards but only slightly which makes me pretty happy but we'll have to see how a real tyre goes on there, pretty sure I'll need to perform a rear guard trip to remove the plastic and metal up near to door to avoid any wheel/guard interaction.

Replaced my power steering pump with a re manufactured one, looks like there are some GM cars that use the same pump based on the label, externally it was exactly the same and the pulley pressed on without issue and mounted up fine. Unfortunately the new one still has a bit of a whine despite me having done quite a few flushes with the old pump to remove as much of the nasty old fluid as possible.

Its a pretty easy job but a little fiddly getting to the bolts through the pulley. A handy tip is to unplug the temperature sensor under the throttle body to trigger the thermofan to go to full speed, this ensures that it consumes full fluid flow.
