do you mean the new one before it went in?

Truss kit is artec, using the ruffstuff coil buckets and artec for the arm and shock mounts (lifting the arm mounts). Not sure why artec does not do a complete bracket set for the front, they don't do the coil bucket so had to go with another brand, will probably add a set of either the curry or synergy coil plates to give the coils a better seat (ruffstuff ones are flat) . I wanted to move the shock mounts lower than the standard coil buckets allow as I am running 11" fox in the front.

Artec going in on the rear as well, full artec set including coil buckets and will be out-boarding the rear shocks with the TNT outboard kit while I am there cutting and welding.

Nice. Nah of it installed.
Are you doing a wj nuckle brake upgrade later? Might be worth sorting out the track bar braket while its unpainted

4th pictures is one of it installed (has the yellow light in it), let me know if you want a specific picture of something

Not bothering with brake upgrade, brakes work great now with rear diskbrake conversion and upgraded rotors & pads on the front. I don't want to have to change my rim size and tires to fit the larger brakes. Been looking at the high steer knuckles from Reid racing, currently have OT steering from IR which is working well.

I haven't worked out what to do about attaching track bar to diff, will end up just fabricating something out of 1/4" when I work it out. I would like to raise the track bar mount on the diff to get it more horizontal (get the track bar away from the tight space around the diff cover) and add the hydro assist which would mean a new set of knuckles to make this work easily. Already have the genright track bar mount to weld in (get it un-welded and it fits RHD, just have to flip parts around before welding) so I can run a bushing at both ends and adjust the height at frame side.

I have wholesale accounts with most of the major american suppliers, the tank and skid retail for around $1100 and cost around $100 to ship in.

Been a busy weekend, Black Betty has been a workhorse towing a trailer to help the little Bro move house yesterday, so I decided to give her some Love today.

Big shout out to the member Ian, picked up a hardtop from him today and he even grabbed out his own tools to help me put it on. It is in immaculate condition and I hope I can be as good a caretaker of it as he has, it has taken 18 months but I am happy I waited for a "good one".

Major service, new oil all round, the gear box (Nv3550) was rebuilt 2000kms ago, had a change at 500km and decided to put a nice clean dose of RP in as I had it on hand and diff & T-case oil is cheap so bung it in . New Oxygen sensors, crankshaft position sensor, oil pressure sender, distributor switch plate (cleaned the crap out of the cavity) and computer reset. Other than the first couple of rough starts from new sensors and computer reset she is purring like a kitten the rest of the day. That now completes all the sensors being replaced along with ignition, injectors, exhaust, water pump, radiator, variable speed electric fans & controller, waterless coolant, coil and redoing most of the wiring. All that basically makes it a new car (well seeing as everything has been an upgraded component better than a new car??) and for less that some stealerships charge for a single service on a JK, not long now till all the Jeep parts are replace .

Also spent a couple hours while at the workshop tacking the last of the mounts onto the new diffs so the rest of the truss can get welded on over the next week or so. I am thinking blasting and powder coating has got to be the best way to seal the finished diffs...

Got the Rims polished up during the week and the android head unit in, got nearly all the parts now to build the boosted wifi hotspot as well as the 3g/4g repeater, just waiting on my fancy rf cable to come in. I am not sure I am happy with the head unit, will have to "root" it and see if I can't kill some of the bloatwear running on it and control what happens when the ignition goes off (really want it to sleep not shut down).

Been a busy day.

New ceramic coated, flow matched late model intake manifold and the matching ceramic coated & wrapped aftermarket exhaust headers are in. Matched the intake with a new, larger throttle body and new sensors and good gaskets all round. All went well and has made a decent improvement to torque and throttle response. I couldn't put my hand on the intake manifold previously as it was too hot, now there is no issue, only warm. Really enjoying the extra grunt in 4th gear around town and it has really changed the exhaust sound, much lower tone.

Headlight assemblies were on their last legs, adjustment was pretty much non-existent so I pulled them out and replaced them. I will have to go down shortly and adjust them correctly but happy that job its finally done.

The seal on the top of the windscreen was next on the list, real pain trying to get the leftover foam off.

New PSC steering pump and porter steering box to go in tomorrow along with a new throttle cable and replacing most of the pulleys and the belt. Hopefully will get enough time to
