I can sympathise with that! Check the output housing of the TC as well, as mine copped a jolt decent enough to break it off the mounting bolts. (early style NP242)
it has the flange style end because we have the Hack and tap sye so should be fine

If it helps I put the Rough Country ones in a few months ago now and it's massively improved the ride. Not only that the DW have completely gone and its much more solid on the road. Should have done it ages ago
Just put in a tranny from jj........ Never again!!!!!!!!!! Put a 28mm spacer on the intake manifold, from jj...... Went for a spin, all going well. All i need now are tyres!!!!!! Any cheapies around? Oh and pretty sure ball joints... The old knock, when i hit a bump, is that ball joints???
