And if sbr don't have one we have 3.
Totally agree. My Tera 30 is excellent. I had my old D30 with virtually all the HD fruit and it still bent.

This will help people give you better advice on the best way to go.
I have not done much off roading and what I have done of it has been light beach runs (don't think the dog would have liked rock crawling). I'm not planning on upgrading tyres as I'm already running 35"s and 90% of my driving is on road.
I think I have come to a conclusion thanks to SKIZZI. Some deals are just to good to pass up

If we're really honest most of us do close to 90% on road... the 10% can be easily tackled over enthusiastically and bam you have a 100% problem.

If your re-gearing you will still have the issue of tiny pinion and failure there. I expect that to blow on mine sooner or later. 5.13s. But I cryo'd them so maybe a little better, who knows?

Default Teraflex d30 axle over gusseting?

How have you come to the conclusion that the housing is actually bent?

Have you been having excessive tyre wear on the inside edge?

Collapsed bearings either wheel or steering knuckle (king pin) can give similar symptoms to a bent housing.

It just seems unlikely from your description of how you use the vehicle that the housing is bent.

I bent my axle housing on my landrover, I check the above bearings and they checked out ok so I booked it in to a tyre shop and got a wheel alignment print out and sure enough my camber was out of spec as I suspected by the tyre wear.

If you don't know how to do the above checks I suggest you go to a wheel aligner and ask for a check up on the front axle and get a print out, they should be able to tell you if the housing is bent or its just bearings.

If its bent enough to cause problems it's easy to see, look at it from the front & you'll have a smiley diff, mines got 1 1/2 - 2 degrees camber, looks like a race car with that much camber, strange thing though, it hasn't effected the tyre wear
