Same here, destroyed the cps I bought from ebay and replace it with mopar I got from a Jeep parts dealer at Parramatta.
Cost me an arm and a leg but it kept the Jeep running atleast for a few days but, this morning it died on me whilst driving. Managed to start back up again after a few minute but now stock on what to do next.
Any tips and tricks or anything for that matter that anyone can recommend?

Check your codes to see if anything is coming up.
Can use key trick.
Sounds like it can be a coil, as they always break down with heat, and then restart.
Also, look at the cam sensor. Black plastic plate under distributor cap. While your there, check out the cap and rotor button.
My rotor button has let me down a few times, and I generally replace cap and button as service items.
Doubt it’s your Mopar CPS.. definitely sounds like coil.

Cheers,
