Selling my JK, it should be well and truly sold by then. Can I bring my 80 series LC?

Do you subscribe to the magazine Luke? Won't be attending camp Bungendore if your not a subscriber.

I'm flat out with work this week, but I have 2 weeks off after Friday (sort of...). I plan on doing a few things to sarge, and Tyson is coming over to do a few bits and pieces to his Troll, your welcome to come around and we can get stuff done on yours aswell

I hold very little hope of another Jambo forming for all the reasons quoted here and elsewhere. Insurance and sponsorship seem to be big ones followed closely by the 'it's too far' and 'I need time to plan' scenarios.

Why not just have state based Jambos that all align on the same DATE nationally? June and Sept Long Weekends seem to be the pick as Easter and Christmas Hols get taken up with other stuff (and by other employees at work).
So if you can't get to Vic from Perth? Then so what, there's one a few hours up the street!
Want to wheel with some new Jeepers? Try the Darwin Jambo!
If the same P/Hol weekend is selected Australia wide then we all KNOW when it will be and can make our own plans accordingly.

Stuff sponsorship, stuff insurance. Just wheel with mates and have a beer afterwards. Local clubs can do the trip prep assuming that 50 or so members and non members would turn up and charge a fee accordingly.

..who put this soap box here?

You know that's a pretty bloody good idea, Killa. There are Jeep clubs in each state and territory ( NT? ) and obviously we are spread out across this great southern land. I would think it would be a little easier to organize a state Jambo and if you wanted to go to an interstate one instead of the state you live in you could. And who knows, numbers might be even greater then the original Ozzie Jeep Jamborees. I'm sure it's done this way in the US as they have the same wide open spaces problem as us.
