Another AGM over!

Thanks to all of those that attended the Annual General Meeting of the Melbourne Jeep Owners Club last Tuesday.

The evening started with a Special General meeting – the proposal to adjust the commitee quorum in the constitution, which was passsed – followed by the AGM, then the August member’s meeting.

I’m happy to announce that we have an exciting new committee for the year to come, half of which (Michael, Neal, Rohan, Marc, Rob, and Mike) are new to the committee which is fantastic!!

Those elected to the executive committee jobs are:

• President – Brett Dashwood
• Vice President – Ian Fletcher
• Secretary – Michael Floyd
• Treasurer – Neal Welti
• Operations Officer – Rohan Dodd
• Communications Officer – Marc Hillman

Those elected to the non-executive committee jobs are:

• Public Relations Officer – Craig Jansen
• Membership Officer – Mathew Gatt
• Events Officer – Rob Sharp
• Driver Training Officer – Paul Kelly
• Four Wheel Drive Victoria delegate #1 – Mike Haworth
• Bookings Officer – Grant Jones

Those elected to non-committee jobs are:

• Catering/Bar Coordinator – Frank De Angelis & David Schinner
• Magazine Editor – Jason Biddell
• Four Wheel Drive Victoria delegate #2 – David Schinner
• Webmaster – Position Vacant, contact me if you are interested
• Media Liaison – Position Vacant, contact me if you are interested
• Communications Coordinator (Notices) – Mel Martin
• Sergeant at Arms – David Dailey
• Magazine Distributor – Vicki Dailey
• MJOC Shop Coordinator – Christos Katsivelis

And a reminder that for the following year, we are after a pool of volunteer helpers to call on for assistance from time to time for things such as:

• Catering and bar assistance at meetings
• MJOC Shop assistance at meetings
• Gathering content for the magazine
• Other help at meetings
• Helping at events
• Pickup/deliver things as required
• Sell raffle tickets
• etc, etc
