I finally got mine booked in for next Tuesday. Thank god it was made compulsory as this time I wasn't told to wait until it came in for a service.
They are finally going to get around to finishing off the heated mirror recall. It's only taken 3 years....
They can't do the clockspring until July as they haven't got the parts but thankfully I've not had an issue with mine so I'd rather they didn't touch it anyway.

OK, so it's booked in for the 6th of June for 3 days! WTF!?
They'll supply a vehicle for me, but it is 3 days to check & verify it is the clockspring, (again. They did this last year.) Then order the part, and finally a day to install.
This is something that I can do myself in an hour or less.

That's because they have to train the work experience boy on how to pull your steering wheel apart.

2nd time in a row I got a phone call the day before it was booked in telling me the part has not arrived. Said they would call when it becomes available but should not be long, that was 2 weeks back.

Dude , I've been waiting since this recall first came out , they have had the parts ordered for mine since then , but every month I ring them to inquire....still on back order sorry..........and yet JEEP still send me URGENT letters to get it done.................frustrating is the word that comes to mind, along with a few other choice words as well.
