Call the 1300 number & ask them about it. Maybe they can bump you up the list if you keep hassling them?
As for the requiring an airbag, or more to the point, avoiding a Claymore... I disconnected it. I'm not worried about my driving, btu if someone else screws up badly enough, there just isn't anything you can do to avoid it. Yes, it makes it technically unroadworthy because a "safety" feature has been disconnected, but I'm not worried about that.
I'm booked in for Nov 15 now. So they can inspect my horn to see why it only works when cornering then, as well... I wonder if it has anything to do with the clockspring they replaced in the last recall?
