I have Mopar clear plastic headlight protectors fitted and I can't figure out how to remove them. They were fitted by the dealers so I've not seen what they look like out of the box. They have a screw in the bottom and are molded around the light at the top. If anyone has these can you please tell me how to remove them. I've had a bit of a go but I'm worried if I force them I'll break either them or the grille.
Thanks for that Dave, that's them in the picture. I was really trying to avoid removing the grill and if that's what has to be done every time I wash the car they're going in the bin. The picture gives me a better idea of how they are attached. I'd still like to hear from anyone who has actually removed them.
Mate remove the plastic screws on the top of the grill and pull it forward and you can just pop the covers off the lights.You will see a metal clip on the bottom of the light it to just slips off. Not hard at all.
