Mine great but stopped holding as good after wheeling last weekend,
Problem turned out to be the bracket that holds the inner section of the handbrake cable to the axle housing was bent on one side allowing the cable to jump out, so when the park brake was applied the cable outer moved instead of the inner cable pulling on the park brake, so no park brake on the right side.
I repaired the bracket, refitted the cable & its working well, will hold on the steepest of slopes
Dont forget when you do a service, check & adjust the park brake shoes as they tend to wear from mud entering the drum & grinding them away
Another tip, when it comes time to replace the park brake shoes don't go to jeep & pay $275 for a set, pull them off & take them to your local brake specialist & get him to re-bond them, did mine cost only $60 & they match them to your drums so they get maximum brake contact
