Mt Gay XO one of the best ive found smooth caramel flavours I like handful of ice in a pint glass fill 2" up glass with rum top off with coke. Im trying to replicate it but its too cold in SA to get a good dunder pit going to generate all those mouth filling flavours.
I work in a bar and the popularity of Rum has surged in the last couple of years.
A few years ago we sold next to bugger all, now it's gone gang-busters.
We sell a heap of Havana (3 Anos and Anejo Especial) and heaps of Sailor Jerry but Kraken and Captain Morgan are also popular.
Appleton and AguaLuca are a bit pricier but sales of those tick over as well.
Mt Gay Eclipse was fairly popular but we have stopped selling that one.
