Hey no worries I was planning to post some pics when done. Installed the bar last weekend but found one of the spindle/carrier bushings was wrong so should get it monday.

Also bought some ARB rear mudflaps, the bar comes with brackets and instructions to modify/install them but you have to buy them separately. Not 100% sure if i'll use them, I haven't had mudflaps for nearly 5 years and had no hassles but with the new bar you can see nearly all of my 285s, looks cool but might just be too much of a fun police magnet!

The tyre carrier is pretty cool in the way it engages with the door. The only negative bits are the holes in the chassis are a pain to enlargen (pass side) and drill (drivers side), especially when my die-grinder goes missing. Otherwise it went together well. If you run the ARB number plate relocation brkt (into the spare tyre) it needs modding too as the studs are 90 degrees out to standard tyre carrier.

Already planning on mods to the bar, tomorrow i'm going to cut some holes to recess a few LED reverse lights. Also planning on how/where to mount adjustable worklight, shovel mount and maybe reposition my UHF antenna.

I think retail is around $1580 but thanks to a long working relationship with ARB I paid less than that.

Yeah bought the ARB bar and carrier 2 weeks ago.

Double check the parts when you get it some numpty packer put M6 instead of M8 cage nuts in and also bottom bush was wrong.
The cage nuts they had in store but the bush they had to re-order 3 times before the correct one came. Apparently the parts bin in Melb was labeled wrong.
I've had the bar part installed for over a week waiting for the right bush.Got it now just gotta install it properly
Hint when you install a die-grinder and carbide bit is very handy for aligning holes in the chassis.

There are pics of it in the jk section somewhere I put them there a few months ago. I'll see if I can find them.
