I am also keen for a trip up there, will most likely tow a camper up, will keep an eye on here for updates, anytime is good for me, 2 weeks from Brisbane would be my plan at a guess.

Default Cape trip itinerary

I have just about finished the itinerary. There are two members of the group that do not wish to travel the OTT, for various reasons. So I'm tiring to come up with a good plan that suits every one. So far I have four options. Once I have completed the itinerary I can email it to who ever wants it. I am planing around school holidays as there will be kids on the trip, two of the women that will be attending are in education. They seem popular these education people

Once I'm done I will post. Only 12 short months to go

Default Old Telegraph Track in a WK2 CRD with no snorkel?

Did you go through Nolan's Brook without a snorkel fitted to your WK2 CRD?
And if so, did any water leak into the cabin onto the floor?

I just let them down a little. Take spare air cleaners, as they get very dirty quickly. Watch out for idiots that dont give themselves enough time and low fly to get there and back. We had a number of close calls with cars losing control around corner. Also they throw rocks over your windscreen.
Hope this helps. Any questions, feel free to ask.

Another good resource of info - https://www.hemamaps.com.au/en/Buy/B...tlas-and-Guide

I went up in 2011 and it was great. I'm considering doing the CREB next year.
