Not going to call you a liar, but I have NEVER heard of ANYONE bending the output shaft on ANY brand of HD SYE. Regardless of tyres or engine.
Also you do realise there are about 6 differnet disitributors of RR in Aust?

I've never seen a HD SYE Bend nor heard of anyone doing it.
Honestly I would suspect that if anyone bent a HD SYE that something else has caused it. eg seized tailshaft slip due to lack of maintenance. Or incorrect tailshaft length. Or incorect applicator or sever tail damage.
