Default egr valve

Hi All. I have recently purchased a 2010 grand cherokee. 3ltr diesel. WH/WK Laredo. My EGR valve is missing the actuator/solenoid part for some reason.
I am trying to buy a new one but am having a lot of trouble finding the right one for my vehicle. I can only make out half the part number on it. A 642 140
Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Not sure on the part number however if the actuator is missing might be worthwhile double checking that someone hasn’t deleted the EGR or removed it to stop the EGR opening?
Maybe a egr delete and remap?
Good luck and enjoy the Jeep.

Check to see if throwing any codes first ,is it running ok.? As J7777 said might have had a egr delete tune etc.If running ok etc dont worry .New price ranges from $370.00 from Rock Auto in US to $1200.00 for OE. !Google Jeep part no 68064963AA

If its not throwing codes and running well leave it alone .......... then it has more than likely had an EGR delete done, whereby the addition of a diode or 2 makes the ECU think its still there .......... Only on the Merc engine though the Italian jobs aren't fooled.

Thanks everyone. Throwing code for EGR and lacking acceleration. also rough idle on cold start. Hoping a new Egr valve will fix it. Has anyone tried these ones from Maxpeedingrods.

Have you checked Rockauto? This is their listing for a 2009 model with the 3ltr diesel

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...egr+valve,4968

The part is listed as MOPAR 68012312AA {#68057479AA} so could try searching under that number.

Cheers
