ive seen the top section of the track and im thinkin i want muddys, tire pressures and a spotter, oh and my camera coz it looks like a challenge.
no doubt someone here has been on it and could say more about it.
im keen though, name a date after easter.

After being away for 30yrs I am now back in the lower Mtns... Cant beleive how much the place has changed! I grew up in Blaxland, went to Springwood High, was in the Blaxland tire brigade for years, Left the area when I was 23... am now settled in Yellow Rock near Winmalee... When I was young used to ride and drive all the local fire trails but alas the do gooders have won with there gates everywhere, Even my nephew who is very high up in the fire brigades on the mtns says its crazy cause most tracks are over grown and they cant get their trucks etc through them, if they were open then at least they would be passable for them. Mind you he is a 4x4 driver.
Have noticed lots of jeeps in the area so if the intrest is there we should all catch up and let our jeeps get to know each other!
If your in the area and see an XJ with qld plates or a lifted WG with qld plates... that would be me!

I just recently purchased an 08 Wrangler, it's my first jeep. I'm from blaxland and I'm just wondering if any of you have any advice when it comes to choosing a good local mechanic with jeep experience.
