Picked up a set of SRT rims today for a steal, gotta fix a little curb rash and they'll be good to go, the wider offset looks good on the WK2 and should accommodate a little wider tyre than the 285's I currently have.

Also fiddled around with my key fob and got the button to work for the flipper glass, happy day

I fitted a shower tent so the wife would have somewhere to go when spending long days on the beach fishing.

Finally got around to making a foot rest, well version 1 anyway.
Not properly fixed in place but sits nicely with existing floor mat. Still need to nut out the method of fixing more permanently. Footbrake just misses.

Is that thing legal?
I would be careful if you have an accident and the insurance company sees that thing...

I very much doubt it would be a problem, early Grands had similar.. Changing tyres from whats on the tyre placard or other design changes would be more of a concern if that way inclined... Insurance companies rarely do an inspection of vehicles be they car or truck, the Police report is what they will jump on if they can get out of a pay out.... Many a floor mat or thong/sandal has caused accidents.

Hoppy99

Just to be clear, the foot rest is a trial fit, not a loose, unattached, floating item. Please don't think it's in use until a secure method of mounting it is found.

Unfortunately, the park brake does not allow me to get the rest in the best position, but it's better than having a foot with nowhere to rest.
