Apple IPOD HIFI

Howdy All,

We went camping over the weekend as Mill Creek (Wisemans Ferry area) and for the camp out and future camping trips I purchased an Apple IPOD HIFI System

Set me back around 400 bucks or so. Since it offered a portable solution with 6 D Cell batteries I thought it would be a great option for camping.

So I unpacked the goodies at home and plugged it into the 240V power and it really packs an awesome punch.

So off we went camping with our 400 IPOD HIFI, and 6 D cell batteries (28 bucks later).

Anyhow was all going great till the thing died! I think we got about 7 hours of listening from it and then the batteries were flat! We did not have the thing pumping really loud just medium volume.

If your considering buying one of these for portable use don't! at 28 bucks a pop for speakers I expected to get more then that out of it!

Yeah ive found that the best way is to take the itrip, and a small stereo with batteries, and run my music that way! the stezza batts last for like a week so you will only need to charge the ipod
