My under bonnet aux has died so I found out today when the fridge only runned for about 5hrs before shutting off. Need to find someone in North Tas to buy a Exide 75ah marine at a decent price, eg $150 or less as that is what I can get one for in Adelaide.

Regards A

Finally finished replacing my water pump. Probably a record for longest ever pump install. First time using rtv, and learnt the hard way to let it cure a bit before notching up bolts.

All set for a wheel tomorrow!

Just spent 3 hrs replacing the O ring between the oil cooler & the block. Getting the water lines on & off is near impossible! Hopefully that will fix the oil leak it has. Sick of having a dust coated tailgate.

Nice RB - didn't smash the window!

I drove to Wollongong and back Friday then Blue Mountains and back today and each time had an empty coolant overflow bottle. No visible leaks, other than the one I've been watching between the tank and core of my Adrad copper/brass radiator that's about 2.5 years old - haven't had the luxury of downtime while it's repaired. Hoping it's not head gasket :-/

Gave her a good clean underneath and tried the get the gear box plug off to check the fluid and realized I didn't have a big enough spanner. Any ideas on size before I get the vernicalipers out ?? I'm thinking 23mm or 11/16

Lubricating round for all the hinges...and realise that my upper driver door hinge has probably now gone past the point of " repair with just a strengthening weld"...now have to look into how to repair this (and not for $500 as I was given a quote for)
