I got the JK lengths. 25mm front/ rear seems ok. I just don't want to limit travel. Lockers help though. I'll see how the 8.8 lsd goes over my rear detroit when I swap over. The JK shocks seem to be fairly on the money with a 2 inch lift. I'm not going 6.5 lift as I did on my stolen blue xj. It handled great but no insurance company would touch it.

I found that 30mm extension on the front bump stops was about right for the Jk shocks, they don't have as much extension as aftermarket shocks do though....

Mad rush in the dark to do an oil and filter change last night. 1200km overdue and it was due less than two weeks ago. Noisy exhaust today, sounding like a truck the flange has a bad leak. I have dropped it into an exhaust place to look at. Hopefully they can sort it. They reckon it could be the stock exhaust manifold being cracked. Not likely IMO its way too loud.

Regards A

Oil & filter change for me too. Way overdue. Valvoline Engine Armour synthetic 10w/40. Z89 Ryco filter. New fuel filter Z468. Bought a rear receiver recovery hitch and pin too. Going to do the diff oils tomorrow and have a run around with the grease gun.

Nah. She's just been neglected. Time to get my finger out and do more on her. But she don't complain though. 26000 km's since last oil change. The oil wasn't that dirty when I dropped it. Gotta love synthetic oil and good filters...

Lowrangers 8.8 has raised shock mounts. He's running OME 2 inch shocks on it. I haven't sourced JK shocks as yet. I just saw that you had them on your's JJ with your lift.
