Shocky bushes. I pressed out the bar pins and ************ those ones. They appear to be adhered to the bar pin.

Bloke at auto shop was a font of knowledge, apparently I can't just use a regular universal shock bush as it will flog out in no time. My shocks are designed for a flat sided bush, not one with a slight "v" in the middle.

I dunno, it done my head in.

He wanted to charge me more than $50 for 2 litres of lsd 80 w 140.

I went home disgruntled.:banghead:

Sent from my FRED.

Hey Bruggz, I've been where your at with the same problem......yeah is does do ya head in cause parts jocks want year/model and that doesn't ever work for me

The question is, are you still going with the bar pin eliminator and the same design but heaps stronger for mounting the rear shocks?

Can you post up a pic of the shock eye and its I.D., from memory the shock eye is tapered into the middle?

I think I should be able to find/ remember the bush I used but need to re research it. I think I used a sleeve/tube to bush the bush to suit the bolt + cut with a hole saw my own 5mm thick washers to clamp it..... what I did lasted forever
