Default Hardtop Dolly

Knocked up a Hardtop Dolly during the week, talk about a space saver should have done it sooner.




Glass retainer, Broome stick and 100mm square U bolt

An sms from my mrs today.
"You have to get that supid thing off the ceiling. I banged my head on it AGAIN!"
Yes she is talking about the hardtop. I use a couple of tiedowns. One on each corner of the hard top attatched to an eyelet screwed into the ceiling. Atleast I dont have to lift it up and I also save precious floor space.
At a cost though. Bumps on my wifes head.

I need to get a hardtop hoist or a dolly like that. Looks just the ticket to save some garage space. Might have to get the welder out

On A similar line, what are you guys using to lift hardtop off with?
I find my old CJ7 top is a bit too heavy for wife & I tried using a come-along & rope but it was a bit dodgy.Post pics if possible.
